Our Story
BORN ON THE SNOW.
Snowbusters was born from a simple conviction: the best teachers are the ones still riding hard. Founded by Jany — a skier, adventurer, and relentless connector of people — the community grew organically from shared lifts and après beers into something the ski world hadn't quite seen before.
Jany's vision wasn't a ski school. It was a living ecosystem — bringing together fully licensed professionals who've dedicated their lives to skiing and snowboarding with riders who want the real thing. No corporate packages. Just genuine progression in beautiful mountains with people who live for the snow.
"The best run is the one that changes how you see yourself. We don't just guide people down the mountain — we help them discover what they're actually capable of. That's been the whole point, from day one."
— Jany, Founder, Snowbusters

A multicultural community covering skiing and snowboarding at all levels. Trips available in English, Spanish, French, German, Czech, Russian and Swedish.
CEO, Head Coach
Jany Novotny
20+ years coaching, 45+ years on skis. Have you ever heard of a funny mean guy from Eastern Europe? Sounds like a contradiction, right? Well, Jany is here to show you how it all comes together in the coolest way possible.
Coach, Photographer
Adam Pernikar
20+ years coaching, 35+ years on skis. When Adam’s not shredding pow, he’s snapping epic mountain shots that’ll make your Instagram weep. Check out @pernikphoto and prepare for immediate mountain envy.
UIAGM Mountain Guide
Roberto Munoz Gonzalez
One of Snowbusters UIAGM guides. The shredder from Chamonix: "Every mountain is skiable!"
UIAGM Mountain Guide
Pablo Ruiz Seco
One of the few UIAGM guides on Snowbusters team, the man who should have been born as a mountain goat.
Local Guide, Founder of Freeride Kosovo
Bardhosh Morina
Founder of Freeride Kosovo, mountain rescuer, skier and paraglider pilot. Bardhosh grew up under the Accursed Mountains, then bought a snowcat so the rest of us could get up there.
Local Guide, Mountain Rescue
Deni Hameli
Ski instructor, mountain guide and mountain rescuer. Deni decides where we ride each morning, and he is the guy you want around if anything goes sideways.
Coach, Skilehrer & Skiführer Examiner
Jonas Kryl
Jonas Kryl: Swedish-born, Austrian-certified, Staatlich geprüfter Skilehrer und Skiführer examiner. He brought his longboat to the Alps in '92, conquered every black diamond, and now teaches the pros how to carve. Don't be fooled by the summer rafting—this Viking lives for winter. Get ready to pillage the powder.
Lucie Rosenkrancova
Meet guideCoach, Level 4 ISIA Examiner
Lukas Partl
Lukas has banked over 3,500 days on snow—he’s got a vertical odometer that won’t quit. He’s a Level 4 Examiner, but his true stoke is turning your ‘scared-to-send-it’ face into a ‘Goggles Up!’ grin. He diagnoses your shred issues before you hit the lift line and makes dropping that ridiculous line feel simple. Come ride with the legend who’s ready to find your next favorite line.

Metodi Chilimanof
Co-founder of Shar Outdoors, UIMLA mountain leader, ski guide and trained archaeologist. Meto learned to ski on Shar Mountain and now shows the rest of us where the powder hides.

Safety Standards
SAFETY IS OUR NUMBER ONE PRIORITY.
All Snowbusters Ski Touring trips are led by fully certified UIAGM guides or local guides with the required certification. You'll be instructed on how to use avalanche equipment and how to perform a rescue. We spend a lot of time learning about safety in the mountains — understanding conditions, reading snow profiles, and simple snow stability tests. Every participant must have travel and skiing/snowboarding insurance for the duration of any Snowbusters trip.
Common Questions
WHAT YOU'RE ASKING
- What's the maximum group size?
Our maximum client-to-coach ratio is 6:1. This keeps sessions personal and progress meaningful. Smaller groups are common — we adapt to the people booked, not the other way around.
- What level do I need to be?
All levels, from complete beginners to expert riders. Our performance coaching camps are designed for people serious about improving — whether that's your first parallel turns or advanced off-piste technique.
- What's included in the trip price?
It depends on the trip, and every trip page lists exactly what's included. Coaching and guiding always are. On our Austrian camps we find basic shared accommodation for the group unless agreed differently, and you bring your own ski or snowboard equipment and clothing.
- What is the cancellation policy?
Full refund if you cancel more than one month before the starting date. If a trip doesn't reach the minimum number of participants, we'll agree on different dates, offer private guiding (with adjusted pricing), or give a 100% refund.
- What languages do your guides speak?
Our multicultural team covers English, Spanish, French, German, Czech, Russian and Swedish. Check individual guide profiles to find the right language match for you.
- Do I need insurance?
Yes — every participant must have travel and skiing/snowboarding insurance for the full duration of any Snowbusters trip. This is non-negotiable and for your own safety in the mountains.
