LOCAL GUIDES WHO MAKE THE MOUNTAIN EASY

Not every trip needs to be an expedition. Our Alps ski vacations put a guide who lives in the resort beside you — someone who knows which slope catches the morning sun, which mountain restaurant is worth the detour, and how to read a piste map so you never waste a run figuring it out yourself.

Every trip is led by a certified local guide or instructor who blends real mountain knowledge with technique coaching. Carving drills for the confident intermediate, a gentle introduction for a first-time family, or a taster of easy off-piste for someone ready to go further — the mountain adapts to you, not the other way around.

Groups stay small — max eight guests per guide — so everyone gets real attention, whether that's a technique correction or just someone to ski the next run with.

BEFORE YOU BOOK AN ALPS SKI VACATION.

What level do I need for an Alps ski vacation?: These trips welcome all levels, from first-time skiers to confident advanced riders. Tell us your level and your goals when booking and your guide will tailor each day accordingly.
Are these trips suitable for families?: Yes — several trips are designed specifically around family pacing, with flexible days and guides experienced at coaching kids. Look for the "Family Week" badge, or ask us to build a custom family itinerary.
Is this different from private ski lessons?: Our guides combine technique coaching with local mountain knowledge — so you're not just drilling turns on one slope, you're skiing the whole resort properly while your technique improves. Fully private guiding is also available on request.
How is this different from a freeride camp?: Alps ski vacations stay on groomed, resort terrain with optional easy off-piste tasters. Our freeride camps are built entirely around off-piste and backcountry terrain for confident, experienced riders.
What's included in the trip price?: Guide fees and accommodation are included on most trips, and most include the DOWN Ski Demo. Lift passes, flights, and travel insurance are not included. Full details are on each trip page.
Can I book a private or custom group trip?: Yes — private guiding and fully custom group trips are available. Tell us your resort, dates, and group makeup and we'll build the perfect week around you.
