The Camp

Train Hard.
Ski Better.

This isn't ski school. It's coaching. This is where skiing starts to make sense: steeper slopes and black runs under control, real speed, every kind of snow, and your skis used to their full potential with a clean, strong style.

Your coaches are Lukas Partl, Level 4 ISIA examiner with 3,500+ days on snow, and Radek Pivnicka. They won't let you coast. In return, we ask for one thing: hunger to improve and the will to step outside your comfort zone and commit.

We ski Kaprun, Zell am See and Saalbach, with the Kitzsteinhorn glacier above Kaprun to make sure the snow conditions are good in December. And yes, it's still fun. Hard work and big smiles aren't mutually exclusive.

Where & Safety

The camp is based in Kaprun, Zell am See and Saalbach in Salzburger Land. Above Kaprun is the Kitzsteinhorn glacier, so even in early December we have reliable snow to train on. The coaches pick the area each day by conditions.

Coaching takes place in the ski resort. This is not a freeride course: no avalanche equipment is needed. Helmets are mandatory for all skiers.

Insurance is not included. Always ski covered: make sure your policy includes skiing and mountain rescue.

FAQ

Common Questions

Is Level 3 my level?

You ski parallel on red runs and want blacks, speed and variable snow under control. If reds are still a stretch, the Level 2 Edge Up camp is for you. If you are an instructor, racer or very strong skier, ask us about Level 4 Apex.

Will there be enough snow in December?

Yes. The Kitzsteinhorn glacier above Kaprun has snow early in the season, and we move between Kaprun, Zell am See and Saalbach to ski where conditions are best.

How many people are in the group?

At least 3 and at most {capacity} skiers, all at the same level.

Is this only hard training?

No. It is intensive and physically demanding, but skiing is still about fun. Our coaches keep it relaxed, interesting and enjoyable while pushing your technique.

Do I need my own skis?

No. You can rent equipment locally and we are happy to recommend shops. Well-fitted boots make the biggest difference.

Do I need avalanche equipment?

No. This is a technique camp in the ski resort, not a freeride course.
