Guided by an experienced IFMGA/UIAGM-certified mountain guide, you’ll ascend stunning Arctic peaks using your touring gear, then enjoy exhilarating descents directly to the shoreline where your floating basecamp awaits. Expect to cover 1000-1500 meters of ascent daily, with multiple laps possible on varied terrain ranging from moderate to challenging freeride routes.

The maritime snowpack offers a dynamic mix of powder, wind-affected snow, and spring corn conditions, ensuring diverse and rewarding skiing or splitboarding. After your summit-to-sea runs, relax in warm cabins, savor hearty Norwegian cuisine, and if lucky, witness the Northern Lights dancing above the fjords.

• Physical Requirements: Good physical fitness is needed to handle 1000-1500 meters of daily ascent, multiple laps, and variable Arctic weather and snow conditions.
• Technical Requirements: Intermediate to advanced backcountry skiing or splitboarding skills are required, including experience with touring, efficient use of skins, and avalanche safety gear, ability to navigate varied off-piste conditions, and preferably avalanche awareness training.
• Additional Considerations: Willingness to live in close quarters aboard a small vessel, preparedness for possible seasickness, and preferably bringing your own touring or splitboarding equipment are required.
