Every friend group has the same problem: one person wants off-piste, another hasn't skied since a school trip, and somebody's partner just wants a nice hotel and a good lunch. Custom Group Trips exist to solve exactly that — one itinerary, built around your specific mix of people, not a generic package that ignores half the group.
You tell us the destination (or let us suggest one), the terrain style, the difficulty spread, and the vibe — bachelor weekend, ski club trip, work reward, multi-generational reunion. We handle guides, accommodation, lift passes, and logistics, and give you one point of contact for the whole thing.
Groups can split by ability on any given day and reconvene for lunch, après, and dinner — so nobody's stuck skiing terrain that's wrong for them just to stay with the group.

BEFORE YOU BUILD YOUR CREW'S TRIP.
- Is there a minimum group size?
We generally build custom group trips from 6 people upward, since that's where splitting by ability and sharing accommodation starts making sense. Smaller groups are usually better served by Private Guiding.
- How do you handle very mixed ability levels?
We split the group into ability-based sub-groups on any given day, each with the right guide or instructor for that terrain, and bring everyone back together for lunch, après, and shared evenings.
- Can we mix on-piste and off-piste within one trip?
Yes — this is one of the most common requests. Confident riders can chase off-piste terrain while the rest of the group works on technique or explores the resort, all within the same trip.
- Can we choose our own dates and destination?
Yes, entirely. Tell us your preferred destination and dates, or ask us to recommend somewhere based on your group's terrain style and budget, and we'll build the itinerary from there.
- How does payment work for a group?
We can invoice the whole group as one payment through a group organizer, or split individual payments per person — whichever is easier for your crew to manage.
- What's included in the price?
Guide and instructor fees and accommodation are included on every custom trip, and most trips include the DOWN Ski Demo. Lift passes, flights, and travel insurance are not included. Exact inclusions are confirmed when we build your quote.
